PROJECT KUBLIHAN(KANLUNGAN)

LLOOK | The Rotary Club of Tiaong Circle participated in the successful joint 7-in-1 project of Areas 1-4 Rotary Clubs(83 clubs), in partnership with Regional Mobile Battalion 4A (RMB4A), Rotary District 3820, and Famy Local Government Unit dubbed as “Project Kublihan(Kanlungan)”.
The initiative was held at Ben & Norma Duller Compound, Barangay Kapatalan, Siniloan, Laguna, with attendees of more than 1000+ on-site patients, from kids to elderly. The event started at 7am and ended in the afternoon.
Do know that 200+ volunteers participated in this activity, led by our Hope Creating Presidents, together with volunteers from Regional Mobile Battalion 4A, Famy LGU, Siniloan Dental Association, Santa Rosa Dental Association, Cognizant, Police Regional Office, and D3820 Moto Riders.
The project delivered services & essential items for the following Areas of Focus:
🔹Disease Prevention and Treatment
– Dental Mission (Cleaning & Flouride Treatment for Kids & Adults)
– Workshop on proper brushing of teeth
– Kid’s Circumcision
– Elder’s ECG Monitoring
– General Medical Checkups
– Acupunture
– Eye Checkups
🔹Peace Building and Conflict Prevention
– Anti-Bastos Law and Violence Against Women Workshop
🔹Water Sanitation and Hygiene
– Rain Water Collector & Filtration unit
🔹Maternal & Child Health
– OB & Pedia Check-ups
– Multivitamins & Medicines for Kids and Adults provided in allocated pharmacy booths
– Hygiene Kits for Students
– Distribution of pack lunch, milk products for Kids and Adults
🔹Basic Education and Literacy
– Educational presentation for Kids, courtesy of the identified Rotaractors and Interactors
– Distribution of educational books and toys for Kids
🔹Community Economic Development & Environment
– Distribution of abono, seedling and plants for teachers and young students
– Workshop on Climate Change
