Rotary Day of Service – Creating Hope for Dumagat

LOOK | The Rotary Club of Tiaong Circle participated in a joint 7-in-1 project of Areas 1-4 Rotary Clubs, in partnership with 1st Quezon Provincial Mobile Force, Real Quezon LGU & Real Quezon Elementary Schools dubbed as “Rotary Day of Service – Creating Hope for Dumagat” for the Parents and Students of Llavac Elementary School, Tanauan Elementary School & Pandan Elementary School
The initiative aimed to provide services & essential items for the following areas of focus:
🔹Disease Prevention and Treatment (Real Smile: Ngiti at Kalusugan)
– Dental Mission (Cleaning & Flouride Treatment for Kids & Adults)
🔹Peace Building and Conflict Prevention (Laban sa Pang-aabusoat Droga: Tungo sa Pag-asa)
– Drug awareness lecture by PSMS Glen Garic
– Anti Bullying Talk by PCpl. Mark Valdez
– Peace and Order/Anti-Terrorism talk by PLT Edwin Ignacio
🔹Water Sanitation and Hygiene (Tubig ng Buhay)
– Deepwell installation
🔹Maternal & Child Health (Kalinga sa mga Inang Dumagat)
– Proper hygiene and disposal talk to Dumagat mothers by Dra. Julie De Leon
– Multivitamins for Students
– Hygiene Kits for Students
– Distribution of slippers
– Distribution of pack lunch for Students and Mothers
🔹Basic Education and Literacy (Project Kwaderno)
– Distribution of bags & school supplies for Kinder to Grade 6 Students
– Distribution of school necessities e.g. Trash Cans, Bond Papers
🔹Community Economic Development (Pagsibol: Binhi at Pataba Para sa Dumagat) & Environment (Pagkalinga sa Inang Kalikasan)
– Distribution of abono, seedling and plants
